Globally compliant to industry standards & regulations

We have implemented a global compliance framework, adopting a holistic approach to information security due to the broad range of information we process and services we provide.

Acquire is independently audited and certified as PCI-DSS Version 3.2, Level 1 Service Provider and has held this certification level since March 2016. This certification applies to all our contact centers and data centers globally. This means that we have adopted stringent logical, physical and process-oriented controls. As we retain this certification, we’re committed to continuous audit, review and implementation of all aspects of data security and our business operations.

Acquire has completed a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) third-party attestation assuring that it has a HIPAA-compliance program with adequate measures for saving, accessing and sharing individual medical and personal information.

We have adopted the System and Organization Controls (SOC) information security standard throughout our business and have received compliance attestations for SOC 1 and 2 in February 2020. This demonstrates our compliance with security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls as a service partner to our clients.

We conduct privacy impact assessments on all programs that have data privacy in scope assessment to understand the data flows of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and any potential risks to the protection of this data. Our staff is thoroughly trained on applicable privacy laws. This includes GDPR, American and Philippine data privacy acts, where organizational, administrative and technical security measures are applied to ensure compliance to these standards.

Acquire is an active member of IBPAP, the enabling association for the IT-BPM industry in the Philippines and CCAP, the official organization of Philippine contact centers. We collaborate with them to drive continuous improvement and world-class contact center and back office services; advocating for the country as a preferred offshoring destination.
