Acquire BPO is delighted to announce the new appointments of Lynda Meredith and Nathan Park as Vice President of Client Services and Vice President of Global Sales, respectively. Based out of our Melbourne headquarters, Lynda and Nathan join us at an exciting time of market expansion and enhanced service excellence.

I’m confident Nathan’s savvy solutions-based approach will assist in growing our sales team and client base, while Lynda’s relationship management prowess will ensure our clients continue to Outsource with confidence,” says Kathryn Marshall, Acquire’s Chief Commercial Officer. 

Lynda Meredith, VP of Client Services 

As VP of Client Services, Lynda will head our Client Relationship Management (CRM) teams globally. Lynda brings over 15-years’ experience in senior account management, customer experience and strategy to Acquire. She has worked across various industry sectors, including telecommunications, construction and government on both the national and global level.  

Lynda comes to Acquire from Eloque, where she was General Manager Customer Strategy and Development. Prior to that, she held senior management positions at Service Stream and Kordia. Her relationship-focused approach, along with an approachable and engaging leadership style, will help us nurture clients while developing new partnerships for continued business growth. 

In her spare time, Lynda enjoys time with her family, bike riding and hiking in the mountains. 

Nathan Park, VP of Global Sales 

As VP of Global Sales, Nathan will lead our commercial teams in designing outsourcing solutions for clients that are Safe, Flexible and Innovative. Nathan brings vast sales experience to Acquire, having built strong connections with key decision makers across various industries, including financial services, retail and government throughout his career. 

Prior to joining Acquire, Nathan was Client Director – Banking and Finance at CoreLogic. He has also held several senior sales director positions for companies such as Computershare and ABCorp. Nathan’s keen interest in understanding how organizations operate in order to provide the right solution will be a vital asset to Acquire as we continue to expand globally.    

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys time with his family as well as coaching girls’ Australian Football League (AFL) and community basketball.

MANILA, Philippines — Between the wave of employees returning to offices and the descending trend of the average number of daily COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, it would be easy to think that, perhaps, the worst is over. But experts encourage everyone to stay vigilant—this is precisely when people begin to get careless, which could lead to a new spike in cases. 

Many entities in the private sector have been pulling their weight to avoid such an event. One such company is Acquire BPO, an award-winning multinational business outsourcer, and an employer of choice for over 9,000 Filipinos across Metro Manila. Determined to help not only its people but also the communities that they touch, Acquire makes it a point to give back as much as possible.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has actively worked toward workforce immunity by empowering the health of the cities in which it has offices. Currently, all of Acquire’s employees have access to free vaccines. And now, by partnering with local government units to precipitate vaccinations as and when supplies become available, Acquire BPO does its part in kicking the economy back into gear, a little bit at a time. 

For Quezon City, driving up their vaccination statistics has been particularly difficult. As the most populated city in the country, Mayor Joy Belmonte and her team of employees, experts, and volunteers have covered all their bases to make sure that the citizens perform what is now considered to be their civic duty. Intense incentivizing, 24-hour vaccination sites, and door-to-door drives are just some of the ways that the city has pushed this endeavor. Most recently, to aid them in their mission, Acquire BPO has partnered with the Office of the City Mayor to donate over 10,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine to the local government unit. “Quezon City is home to four of our offices that employ around 1,500 people,” says Scott Stavretis, CEO of the company. “It’s a great city of almost 3 million people, and we want to give back and continue to help [Mayor Joy’s] successful vaccination programs.”

“[The city has] done everything you can think of,” says Mayor Belmonte, who is on the cusp of her second term as the city’s chief elected official. “We’ve done vaccination drives in churches—the support of the clergy has been extremely helpful—and gated communities and in public schools… we’re giving no one an excuse to skip. Even if you’re not from the city, you can come and get your dose; if we can protect one more person, that’s what matters to us. We’re so thankful to [Acquire BPO] for their generosity; it will go a long way.”

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte thanks Acquire BPO for its donation of 10,000+ Moderna vaccines to boost the local city government’s vaccination program.

Dr. Maria Lourdes Eleria, an officer of the Quezon City Health Department, can attest to the months of work on the part of the local government unit. “This is where most of our budget has gone, because we have to protect one another. Most groups are reactive rather than proactive,” she shares, “and I am proud to say that Quezon City has been proactive. But there is still a lot of work to do, and this donation is a great help.”

As a testament to Acquire BPO’s actions during the pandemic, the company was given a Bronze Stevie Award for Most Valuable Corporate Response at the International Business Awards in 2020. On top of quickly providing resources to ensure that at least 85% of Acquire’s employees could work safely and conveniently from home at the start of the pandemic, the company takes steps to adapt to the regulations of every country that houses its offices, and enforces strict health and safety protocols as employees return to work on-site. Most of these efforts were focused on the Philippines, where 76% of Acquire employees are based.

Sean brings over 20 years of BPO operations and leadership experience, focusing on business fundamentals across delivery, resourcing/recruitment, staff development and engagement, workflow management and quality assurance. Throughout his career, Sean has held a range of roles from Operations and Site Director to Vice President. He has worked across various United States locations, as well as 10 years overseas in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Panama City, Panama and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. 

Sean is a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor of Science graduate from Bethel University.

Acquire BPO won the Bronze Stevie Award for the Contact Center of the Year (Over 100 Seats) category at the 16th Annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.  

Acquire was recognized specifically for the success of our contact center partnership with a key client, a global entertainment and online gaming platform, with whom we’re engaged for customer service and content moderation. The client’s business grew by 120% within six months of the COVID-19 pandemic and they turned to Acquire to meet its support demands in various languages and across multiple country operations. 

Out of 2,300 other nominations, the judges highlighted our ability to meet client requirements while providing performance sustainability. “Transitioning to WFH is difficult in itself, but while transitioning you turned a temporary program to permanent is a job well done,” said one of the judges. The quality of Acquire’s recruitment activity was noteworthy to another judge who said, “Ramping up from a smaller team to over 750+ is no mean feat and requires a diligence to acting quickly and with precision as you want to employee quality candidates.” 

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. The Stevie Awards organizes eight of the world’s leading business award programs, also including the prestigious American Business Awards® and the International Business Awards®. 

Winners will be recognized during a virtual awards ceremony on May 11.

Acquire BPO’s Australian team is heading into the holidays 16,587,897 steps fitter. 

We recently wrapped our Charity Walk Challenge under our official Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Dare to Care. The challenge brought together 97 employees across 10 teams, all racing to reach a virtual finish line at 100 kilometres for their selected charities. The teams smashed this goal, walking a total of 11,141.70 kilometres—or to put it in perspective, the distance between our Melbourne and Darwin offices three times over in the course of 31 days!

Our winning team walked a total average of 437,854 steps for their charity, Share the Dignity, which provides assistance to women and girls experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence and period poverty. For the winning team, Acquire donated $5,000 to the organisation.  

The Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria was the charity of choice for the second-place team, which logged an average total of 337,738 steps. DVRCV is a state-wide organisation that works to prevent family violence and violence against women. The organisation will receive a $2,500 donation from Acquire. 

Rounding out our top three with 311,858 steps was the team for the MS Australia, which supports people living with multiple sclerosis. Acquire will donate $1,000.

Tim will be based out of our Dallas, Texas office, giving clients local access to one operational point of contact while providing a streamlined and consistent approach.
